Mr. Michael has over 30 years of healthcare management experience in the United Kingdom and the GCC, the majority of which has been in Senior Executive roles in both private & public sectors.
Michael has been a Hospital CEO for the last 30 years and has led some of the most prestigious private hospitals in the UK and the Gulf, including; The Wellington Hospital, London, The Alexandra Hospital, Manchester, We care Hospital, Dubai, Ajlan Hospital, Doha and CEO of University Hospital Sharjah. As Executive Director (medical facilities) of Dubai Healthcare City he was tasked with opening Al Jalila Children's Hospital and the continued development of Mohammed Bin Rashid University Hospital in Dubai Healthcare City.
With great passion for improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare errors Mr. Michael laid strong emphasis on healthcare quality , risk and patient safety as CEO and as the saying goes it starts at the leadership level he has overseen all implementations in direct co-ordination with Quality Office on patient safety initiatives , meeting all quality requirements, regulatory compliances, healthcare accreditations and so on with the aim of “no harm to patients”. Originally trained as a Diagnostic Radiographer and therefore has extensive clinical underpinning and management experience, Mr. Michael has a unique insight into detailed operational and strategic healthcare management.
Dr Kenneth Waxman

Dr Kenneth is a Ex - Joint Commission International (JCI) Physician Surveyor & Professor of Surgery and Director of the Trauma Center, Burn Center, and Surgical Intensive Care Unit at University of California, USA.
A strong advocate for patient safety and quality with himself being an surgeon has contributed immensely to the healthcare organizations to make care processes safer for patients across the United States and internationally. Many healthcare organizations have benefitted immensely from his expertise in improving their systems and developed safe health systems.
Dr Waxman is a board certified surgeon in general and surgical critical care. He is educated from University of California, Berkeley with BA and from University of Chicago with an MD.
Dr. Waxman joined the surgical faculty at University California, Los Angeles, where he worked in trauma, critical care, and surgical oncology. He then went to the University of California at Irvine where he became Professor of Surgery and Director of the Trauma Center, Burn Center, and Surgical Intensive Care Unit. After 15 years, Dr. Waxman moved to Santa Barbara, California, to become the Director of Surgical Education and developed the first trauma center on California’s Central Coast. In 2011, he retired from his Santa Barbara positions and went on to volunteer as a surgeon with Doctors without Borders.
Presently he is director of a nonprofit organization, Future Doctors for South Sudan, which is working to reestablish medical education and to support South Sudanese medical students. He also travels internationally with his work with Joint Commission International, and has worked with Doctors without Borders. Ken additionally works as a member of the Board of Directors for The Sansum Diabetes Research Institute at Santa Barbara , California , United States.
